Aim: What does PRIDE and honor look like in our classroom?

Student Activity:

  • Students will work in groups for today's activity.
  • Within each group students will share what they feel each element of PRIDE will/should look like in our classroom.
  • Each group will agree on at least 2 guidelines for each element and chart them on each PRIDE station posted around the classroom.


Wrap-up/Summary:

Students will discuss posted guidelines and come to an agreement on which ones will be added to the class PRIDE Agreement.

Homework:

  • Come up with two (2) behaviors that represent honor in a classroom, and two (2) behaviors that violate honor in a classroom.
  • Be as specific as possible.


Assignment is due tomorrow, February 4.

Student Activity:

  • Students will work in the same groups as they did yesterday (Feb 3).
  • Within each group students will share the honor behaviors they develped for homework.
  • Each group will agree on 2-3 behaviors and write them on a transparency.

Wrap-up/Summary:

  • Each group will present their honor behaviors to the class.
  • Students will complete the Honor Code Exit Slip.
